Partner Program Terms
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These terms govern participation in the Tread4life Partner Program. By applying, you agree to them. We may update them with 30 days' notice to active partners.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. We accept partners in the United States. If you're outside the US, apply anyway and we'll tell you whether we can pay you.
We approve partners at our discretion. Installer and creator applications are reviewed manually. We may decline an application without giving a reason.
Installer track additionally requires a registered business — you'll need to provide a business name, physical address, phone number, and a business licence or EIN.
2. Commission
Base rate: 5% of the order subtotal, excluding shipping, taxes and any discounts applied.
Commission is earned when a customer completes a purchase through your tracking link or partner code within 30 days of first clicking your link.
Fleet and commercial accounts are not commission-based. They receive a direct volume discount instead, set out separately at application.
When commission is approved and paid
- Commission is held pending for 35 days after the order date. Our refund window is 30 days; the buffer covers delivery.
- Approved commission is paid monthly via PayPal, once your balance reaches $50. Below that it rolls forward.
- Commission is reversed if the order is refunded, cancelled, charged back, or found to be fraudulent — in whole or in part.
- US partners earning $600 or more in a calendar year must supply a completed W-9 before we can pay out.
Attribution
If a customer clicks more than one partner's link, the most recent click within the 30-day window gets the commission. If a customer uses a partner code at checkout, that code takes precedence over any link.
3. What you may not do
Any of the following ends your participation immediately and voids unpaid commission.
Self-referral. You may not earn commission on your own purchases, or on purchases by your household, your employees, or anyone acting on your behalf. Installers ordering stock for their own shop are covered by wholesale terms, not this program.
Coupon and deal sites. You may not post partner codes to coupon aggregators, deal forums, cashback sites, browser extensions, or anywhere designed to intercept customers already on their way to buying.
Paid search on our brand. You may not bid on "Tread4life", "tread4life.com", or close variants in any paid search platform. You may not use our name in display URLs or ad copy in a way that implies you are us.
Impersonation. You may not register domains, social accounts, or email addresses containing "Tread4life" or confusingly similar variants. You may not present yourself as an employee or as the official Tread4life account.
Unsolicited email or SMS. No spam, no purchased lists, no automated messaging.
False claims. Do not misstate prices, stock, warranty coverage, fitment or delivery times. Do not claim we mount or install tires — we supply tires only.
Undisclosed endorsement. US partners must disclose the relationship clearly and conspicuously wherever they promote us, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides. "#ad", "#sponsored", or a plain sentence saying you earn a commission — placed where people actually see it, not buried in a description.
4. Using our brand
You may use the Tread4life name and logo to promote us, in the form we supply. You may not modify the logo, use it as your own, or use it in a way that suggests we endorse products or services other than our own.
Product images, specifications and pricing shown on tread4life.com may be used in your promotion. They change without notice — check before publishing.
We can withdraw permission to use our brand at any time.
5. Fitment and customer responsibility
Tires are fitment-critical. Nothing in this program makes you responsible for a customer's fitment choice — but equally, do not present yourself as guaranteeing fitment on our behalf. Customers are responsible for confirming size and load rating against their vehicle's door-jamb placard, as stated in our Terms of Service.
Installers: your mounting, balancing and inspection work is entirely your own business, performed under your own insurance and liability. Tread4life is not a party to it.
6. Relationship
You are an independent contractor. This program does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency or franchise. You have no authority to bind Tread4life or make commitments on our behalf.
You are responsible for your own taxes on commission earned.
7. Ending participation
You may leave at any time by telling us. Approved commission already earned will be paid on the normal schedule.
We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with or without cause. If we terminate you for breaching section 3, unpaid commission is forfeited.
If the program closes entirely, we'll give active partners 30 days' notice and pay out approved balances.
8. Liability
Our total liability under this program is limited to the commission owed to you. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunity, or consequential damages of any kind.
We make no promise about how much you'll earn. Nothing here is a guarantee of income.
